Christmas Time 2015 – Juleturne med DIGC og Cecilie Schilling

Snart er det klart for julekonserter med Drammen International Gospel Choir og Cecilie Schilling. Det blir tre hovedkonserter, den 6. des i Åssiden kirke, den 9. des i Konnerud kirke og 11. des i Svelvik kirke. Alle konsertene starter kl 19.00. Dette blir flotte konserter med det største og mest aktive gospelkoret i drammensdistriktet, dyktige solister, fullt band og profesjonell lydmix. Her får du nye og gamle julesanger, gospeltrøkk og julestemning.

DIGC har siden oppstarten i 2009 hatt sin base i Åssiden kirke. Koret består av 50 aktive medlemmer med ulik kulturbakgrunn. Fill The Streets With Love – Drammen International Gospel Choir live in Drammen Theatre

This song was written just after 22. July 2011, in memory of all the victims in the terrible tragedy in Oslo and Utøya. Words and Music: Sven Jøran Michelsen. The multicultural Drammen International Gospel was started i Aassiden Church in Drammen in 2009, and has had a whole range of concert productions during the last years. This video is taken from a DVD Production from a concert in the Drammen Theatre in February 2014. In October 2014 the choir held concerts in Salisbury and Winchester. A CD Production from these concerts is in Production now. A CD single with «Fill The Streets With Love» is allready produced.

Feel the love – a new short film about DIGC

The Drammen International Gospel Choir explain to Winchester Today about their program after the 22. of July 2011, now more actively welcoming immigrants into the choir.

Drammen International Gospel Choir is planning to go to Winchester in England this coming October. Kevin Gover is organizing this trip on the english side. In June he came to Drammen meeting the choir and recording a short film about DIGC in Åssiden church. We put this video on our website on the 22. of July in remembrance of all those who lost their lives that terrible summer day 3 years ago.
